Data protection

Self Assessment

ebner-team Training Coaching Forschung GmbH, based in Vienna, is the responsible body in the sense of data protection law for the implementation of the PERMA lead procedures. With this overview, we would like to convey to you what data we store and how we use it. As a company in the EU, we are committed to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Preamble: The submittal of an assessment is voluntary. Non-participation or incomplete participation will not result in any direct disadvantages for you. The collection and processing of data is based on your consent.

a) Collection and use of personal data

We collect, process and store personal data for the implementation of the PERMA Lead Feedback to the extent necessary for this purpose. Personal data means all information that indicates an identifiable person, such as names, email addresses or function in the feedback process.

For you as a feedback provider or self-evaluator, we process and use the data for the following purposes:

  • Sending of invitation or reminder messages to submit the assessment
  • Evaluation of your submitted assessment. Anonymization is achieved by calculating an average of all ratings from your category for all questions. It is therefore not possible to draw conclusions about the response behavior of individual persons.

The following of your data as the feedback provider will be stored on our server until the results report is created:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • Your submitted answers

After the results report has been created, the data is "pseudonymized" (see point c) - "Pseudonymization" of data and research). From this point on, any subsequent matching of your answers to your person or your organization is impossible.

b) Data protection

To ensure that the regulations on data protection are met by us, we use the following measures: All data is stored on a protected server in Germany and processed in Austria. Access to the data is restricted to authorized and trained employees whose area of responsibility includes conducting the survey and analyzing the data. The evaluation of the data is carried out exclusively by employees of ebner-team Training Coaching Forschung GmbH, who have been informed about the GDPR and have confirmed their compliance in writing. At no time do third parties have access to the raw data (= the answers you entered in combination with information that would allow conclusions to be drawn about you as a person).

To carry out the PERMA Lead Feedback, the results are summarized in a detailed results report and forwarded to the consultant.

c) Pseudonymization of data and research

The PERMA Lead procedures are scientific, evidence-based procedures. This means that the findings are continuously expanded through accompanying research, and these are incorporated into the updating and further development of the PERMA Lead procedures. You will already find numerous research results published on this procedure. You agree that the collected data and study results may be used in pseudonymized form for research purposes. "Pseudonymization" is, according to art. 4 of the GDPR, "the processing of personal data in such a manner that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information". This pseudonymization takes place 4 weeks after the results report has been generated.

d) Use of cookies

They are used to improve user-friendliness and to collect statistical data on website use and analyze it for the purpose of improving the website. You can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option that limits or completely prevents the storage of cookies. However, we would like to point out that the user comfort is limited without cookies.

e) Possibilities for disclosure of the stored data

Due to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to receive information free of charge about the personal data we have stored on you and also to have this data corrected or deleted. For this purpose, please contact us via e-mail: office@ebner-team.com.

If we have received your personal data as part of your nomination as a feedback provider, you as the third party affected by this can object to the use of this data at any time, whereupon we will immediately delete the data concerned. For this purpose, please contact us by e-mail at: office@ebner-team.com.

After generating and submitting the organizational culture analysis and the bill, we will anonymize the data (see c) "Pseudonymization of data and research”. However, should you wish to have your data anonymized or deleted earlier, please contact us for this purpose via e-mail: office@ebner-team.com.
