PERMA-Lead® online certification workshop

The PERMA-Lead® model, which describes concrete positive leadership behavior, is scientifically based and was developed by Dr. Markus Ebner.

Target group

People who work in personnel development or in consulting, coaching or training with executives and managers. The number of participants in the certification workshop is limited to allow for good interaction.

Goal

Application, interpretation and implementation of the three Positive Leadership methods and obtaining the certificate. Acquisition of the competence and authorization to use the tools independently. To get to know methods and tools for coaching and seminars on Positive Leadership.

Brief description

Positive Leadership or strength-based leadership is a leadership approach that has been introduced in numerous companies in the last decade. Numerous modern leadership programs and coaching sessions work with this approach. The advantage of this leadership style is that its extraordinarily positive effect on the performance, motivation and satisfaction of employees has been clearly proven in numerous studies.

In this certification workshop, which consists of three full-day online classroom sessions, practical implementation, peer group assignments, and a final short online classroom, you will learn about the PERMA-Lead® Profiler, 360° feedback and its many uses, and organizational culture analysis in practice, in addition to an introduction to Positive Leadership. You will gain the competence and authorization to use all three instruments independently.

The PERMA-Lead® Profiler, the 360°-Feedback and the Organizational Culture Analysis are scientifically based tools that have been developed for practical use and are based on Martin Seligman's PERMA model. The test procedures provide goal-oriented support in individual coaching of executives, in executive development programs and in organizational development.

The great advantage lies in the possibility of making both the status quo and successful development steps measurable. From this, customized coaching interventions, seminar content and organizational development concepts can be derived and their impact reviewed.

Another focus of this certification workshop is on the practical application of Positive Leadership Test procedures in coaching, leadership development and organizational development. Concrete application possibilities, possible challenges and numerous experiences in practical implementation are the topics of the seminar. In addition, you will learn a complete and field-tested seminar design for PERMA-Lead®, which you can use to design workshops for leaders and team members, as well as organizational development processes.

In addition, you will learn various positive leadership coaching, consulting and communication techniques that you can use yourself in consulting, as well as teach to your coachees or seminar participants. All techniques will be tried out directly in the seminar.

After receiving the certification and completing the workshop, you are entitled to use the measuring instruments independently in your work and can also register free of charge on a list of certified users. We make this available to companies that want to work with these tools.

Procedure in 5 steps

  1. 01 Preparation One week before the start of the face-to-face seminar, you will receive access to an interactive e-learning module of about 2 hours, which will give you a good introduction to the topic in your own time.
  2. 02 In-depth knowledge In the three online seminar days, you will learn about the concept of Positive Leadership and the appropriate measurement tools. In addition, you will train appropriate coaching techniques and concrete didactic exercises that can be used in seminars. Between the two attendance days you will do a PERMA-Lead Profiler yourself. The two online seminar days each last from 9:30 - 17:30 and are designed as an online classroom with a lot of interaction.
  3. 03 Practical implementation After the online seminar days you will conduct a PERMA Lead Profiler test with a manager and do the associated evaluation coaching.
  4. 04 (Online) Peer Group In small peer groups (which can take place either online or in presence and are self-organized) you support each other in the preparation of the evaluation coaching. Furthermore, together with your peer group you analyze the evaluation of a 360° feedback, as well as an organizational culture analysis. 2 appointments of 2 hours each are scheduled for the peer group meetings.
  5. 05 Practice reflection and further support In a final 2-hour online seminar, the entire group meets a few weeks after the start of the training. The practical implementation is reflected and all questions that have arisen are worked on together with Dr. Markus Ebner.

Upon completion of these five stages of the certification workshop, you will receive your certification certificate, which entitles you to independently apply the measurement tools in your work, as well as to use the PERMA Lead Logos.

The entire training corresponds to a duration of 5 seminar days (50 teaching units of 45 minutes each).
The seminar fee includes 2 PERMA-Lead Profiler test accesses worth 150 euros.

Dr. Markus Ebner, MSc.

Organizational Psychologist/Founder of the PERMA-Lead Model

He teaches leadership at several universities and colleges, has written numerous books and publications in this field, and has additional training in coaching, supervision, crisis intervention, social pedagogy, and organizational and team development. In addition to his more than 20 years of work as a trainer, coach and consultant, he is the founder of the PERMA Lead Model and, as one of the renowned European experts on Positive Leadership, is on the Board of Directors of the Austrian Umbrella Association for Positive Psychology. In 2021, he was awarded the Exemplary Research to Practice Award by the World Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) for his work.

Armin Forstner

Armin is highly skilled in positive psychology, behavioral science, and mindfulness and possess extensive experience in leadership, training, and people development, client and account management, and multi-stakeholder project management. His signature strengths are Bravery, Social Intelligence and Honesty.

Reinhard Fröhlich Steiner, MA

Reinhard Fröhlich-Steiner specializes in the application of Positive Psychology and Positive Leadership and works as a trainer and coach across the entire DACH region. He has extensive experience in developing and collaborating with leaders and teams. As a long-standing member of Dr. Markus Ebner’s team, he supports companies and leaders in establishing Positive Leadership within their organizations.

In addition to a degree in Personnel and Knowledge Management and a master’s degree in Communication Management, he completed his coaching training with Trigon Austria. He has also been a lecturer at a University of applied sciences in Vienna for several years. As a certified business coach and PERMA-Lead® consultant, he combines scientifically grounded approaches with practical, application-oriented methods. His focus lies on the use of PERMA-Lead® tools, including the PERMA-Lead Profiler, 360° feedback, and organizational culture analysis.

His work is characterized by the integration of strengths-based leadership, resilience, and authentic communication.

Mag. Clarisse Garlot

Multilingual Trainer and Business Coach

Clarisse Garlot works worldwide as a trainer with a focus on Self-Leadership, New Leadership and Positive Leadership. She works in German, English, French and Italian. She has over 30 years of professional experience in international medium-sized companies, primarily in the service sector. She is a certified Business Coach, a certified Feel Good Manager as well as an international mentor.

As soon as we confirm the registration with another email, you will receive the invoice from us by email. By paying the invoice within 14 days, you secure your place in the seminar.

Free cancellation is possible at any time if you provide a substitute participant or your place can be occupied by a place on the waiting list. Otherwise, the cancellation costs are 30% for cancellations up to 4 weeks before the start of the seminar, 50% for cancellations up to two weeks beforehand, and 100% for later cancellations.

If the seminar has to be cancelled, we will immediately refund the participation fee paid in full. No further claims can be asserted.
